* HET PLAATJESBOEK, by Leo Blokhuis
'Plaatje' is both a small picture, but also a small record - a vinyl single. So plaatjesboek means picture book, or comicbook, but also recordbook - specifically pointing at singles then. The author Leo Blokhuis is a self-proclaimed 'Pop-professor'.
The book is a colourful, richly illustrated discovery trip through the history of pop/rockmusic.
It has a curious cover which shows a Bob Dylan in concert ticket-stub for Ahoy Rotterdam, but it's a doctored one: the real tickets for all three Ahoy shows have a different design.
Chapter 12 is about Bob Dylan and shows a fake concert poster (19 September 1960, Greenwich village). Why show fake documents when it's so easy to show the real ones?
It comes with a various artists CD which includes a cover version of Don't Think Twice It's All Right by Ricky Koole, wife of author Leo Blokhuis.
