How to make 'books' and money without writing a single line! PART II
This page used to present items coming from WIKIPEDIA articles.
But since 2023 and the rising of ChatGPT and the A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), it is now very easy for unscrupulous people, from a few pertinent prompts, to get fake books on any subject without any effort.
So there are now on two categories of what tries to make believe it is a book but is not:
I. THE WIKIPEDIA PRINTS,
II. THE A.I. GENERATED BOOKS (2023 onwards).
As we do not mean to offer them any promotion,
these items are mentioned here for information and warning,
with just their front cover and title
(to make them appear in the Search),
but without any details.
This is a kindle, but its title could be a presentation of the items below:
A.I. can propose a text on anything Bob Dylan (and any other subject).
In 2023 ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) arrived on the scene. "It enables users to refine and steer a conversation towards a desired length, format, style, level of detail, and language".
Knut Högvall, who has found many pirate items on this page writes: "Now people don't even have to rip off Wikipedia any longer, they just ask ChatGPT to write a book about Bob Dylan: in effect, ChatGPT will explore Wikipedia and the Internet for them.
All the A.I.-written texts will be slightly different, so we can't just compare the texts with Wikipedia to expose them anymore.
Our work will no longer be to weed out the rip-offs from the real books, but to even find the real books in the deluge of rip-offs."
That's technology... There is of course no absolute certitude, but we have clues to detect an A.I. generated book: published after 2022, they are usually very thin, with a poorly illustrated cover, and their "authors" are completely unknown, if named; a search on their names shows that they "wrote" on a multitude of very different subjects.
Kindles, i.e. digital books, were not presented here, on the Bob Dylan Paper Site ... but now, what if all of them are also sold as printed paperbacks? Do they become relevant to the site, as made of paper ? As they do not deserve the name of 'book' and are an insult to the real human authors who worked hard to produce what they wrote, they are, (at least some of them, as a new one is put on the market almost every week), presented here as a warning to visitors: beware, this is pointless and uninteresting:
