BOB DYLAN'S LANDING CARDS
These are the custom forms that had to be filled when entering the UK. They are not dated but the 'Full address in United Kingdom' gives precious clues:
(1) The Savoy Hotel in London is the place where Bob Dylan recorded his famous video forSubterranean Homesick Blues in an alley behind the building; he arrived in London on 26 April 1965.
(2)The Isle of Wight address dates without any doubt this card as from his arrival there, on 28 August 1969.
Note also that Bob was a 'Tunesmith' in 1965 and a 'Musician' in 1969, and that his passport has been renewed.
