    The HARD RAIN NBC-TV SPECIAL was recorded on May 23, 1976, at Hughes Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado, during the second leg of Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review.
    The NBC broadcast in September, coincided with the release of the album HARD RAIN. Despite heavy promotion that placed it on the cover of TV Guide, NBC's television broadcast drew disappointing ratings.
