SPIN - THE FOLK SONG MAGAZINE, UK

    SPIN was published in Wallasey, Cheshire and is just across the river from Liverpool. It was associated with a Liverpool folk group called The Spinners (sometimes known as the Liverpool Spinners), hence the name of the magazine. They were not a commercial folk group like the American ones but were quite popular in Britain in the 1960s and the 1970s. Thank you to Ian Woodward for the information.
