The SÄCHSISCHE ZEITUNG is a daily newspaper published in eastern Saxony since April 1946. The "SZ" is the newspaper with the largest circulation in its distribution area, the former Dresden administrative district (1991–2008 identical with the Dresden administrative district ). The SÄCHSISCHE ZEITUNG is published by the DDV Media Group . The paid circulation is currently 153,500 copies.
