PELO, Argentina
In 1970, from the ashes of PINAP (along with Cronopios and LA BELLA GENTE, the only beat rock magazine) emerged PELO (Hair), soon to become the official publication of Argentine rock. PELO's influence became enormous. Daniel Ripoll, owner and editor, decided whether an artist was ''in'' or ''out'', praising or ignoring him. (TheMagicLand)
