JUKE BOX MAGAZINE is a monthly French music magazine founded by Jacques Leblanc and intended for vinyl record collectors. The journal was created in September 1984, following the success of the first International Convention of International Civil Liberties (CIDISC)1 in May 1984. More generally, it is aimed at all lovers of popular music (song, rock…) and especially those who keep the nostalgia of the sixties.
The first issue was published in September 1984. The magazine, initially quarterly, became bimonthly in 1986 and then monthly at the start of the 1988 academic year. The circulation is 25,000 copies.
Indirect victim of the Covid-19, JUKE BOX MAGAZINE folded with issue #400, dated April 2020.
