IL RESTO DEL CARLINO, Italy
IL RESTO DEL CARLINO is an Italian daily newspaper, one of the oldest still in existence. Founded in 1885, it is the symbolic newspaper of Bologna and the first daily newspaper in terms of circulation in Emilia-Romagna and Marche, as well as the seventh most widely distributed daily newspaper in Italy. Between 1945 and 1953 the newspaper was called GIORNALE DELL'EMILIA.
The newspaper belongs to Italian publishing company Poligrafici Editoriale, which owns IL GIORNO, LA NAZIONE and IL RESTO DI CARLINO,) under the Quotidiano Nazionale network. The three newspapers look very similar.
