CRAB APPLE, UK

"Often mistakenly said to be a Dylan fanzine, Crabapple was in fact a homemade science fiction fanzine produced by Mary Reed, later Mary Legg. Not too much is known about this magazine.
The first issue appeared in September 1965. The first two issues were distributed by OMPA (Offtrails Magazine Publishers Association), which specialised in the distribution of science fantasy. Crabapple featured fictional tales written by Mary Reed, who had begun writing science fantasy in her previous co-produced mag, Link.
Oddly for a zine specialising in science fantasy, Crabapple made the occasional foray into music! One of those deviations can be found in Crabapple 6."

   Below: #6, late 1966, 90 pages with limited Dylan content. 8x10 inches, 20 cm x 25 cm
The information on this very rare item comes from ISIS #192, page 35 and #219.
