A BOB DYLAN PHOTO-SLEEVE (UK, 1965)
In the United Kingdom was published in 1965 this very rare 'photo-sleeve'.
At that time the singles sold in Great Britain had no picture covers, but a generic sleeve. Made by Independent Photo-Sleeves Ltd., London, this sleeve has nothing to do with CBS, it's only a printer's work. A space was left on the back cover, so that the song titles of the record put inside could be written down.
This item is now very rare.
(Hypnotist Collectors, by Jean-Louis Dréau &
Robert Schlockoff and Bob Dylan Worldwide, by Christoph Maus).
The woman in the doorway of the cabin in the front picture is Sara Lownds.
The tall woman with Bob on the rear of the sleeve has also been identified as Sara, but she isn't. Some say (because of the height and the large hands) it isn't a woman at all, but Al Kooper in drag! (http://www.searchingforagem.com/Sleeves7in.htm)
