AUSTRALIA TOUR, 13-23 April 1966

     This tour has unsurpassed historical importance as it was Bob Dylan’s first appearance in Australia. All the concerts during this tour contained electric sets, similar to what Dylan shocked fans with at Newpport the year prior. The musicians Dylan employed as his backing band during the 1966 tour were known as "Levon and The Hawks". They subsequently became famous as The Band soonafter!
